Online Shopping in the Philippines

SMilDS.com launched in the Philippines
Are you fond of online shopping in the Philippines? Well, I am. Actually, I usually shop at friends' online boutiques in Multiply. But then, a friend of mine invited me to become a fan of SMILDS Philippines Facebook fan page, it got curious. So I proceeded to SMILDS.com to know more about it. I found out that SMILDS.com supported the recent DigitalFilipino Web Awards 2009 and the DigitalFilipino Web Awards 2009 winners truly rocked as they showed that they do the best practices in the Philippine internet industry, as they were showcased as the country's best websites for 2009 in the Digital Filipino Web Awards. Ah.. I wish i could be like them.

But of course, Smilds.com is also one noteworthy company that we should do our online shopping on... What I specifically like is the fact that we get to pay in the Philippine currency, Pesos, instead of dollars. Isn't it grand? At least all of us can best participate that way...

Apart from that, what I have noticed is the fact that many Filipino businesspersons, even neophytes, can join and sell through the site. Now, if you are interested about selling, you can actually buy service subscription to become one of its merchants... Since its launching last July 2009, they are inviting reseller agents to promote its platform.

Ohlala.. I got tons of Awards from Ate Dharlz.. Thank You so much dearest…

Now I am passing this award to all those who want to grab these lovely awards.

Finally booked and ready...

My sister finally bought me tickets for my flight to and from CDO come Christmas holidays... It's cheaper to buy from our "suki" travel agency than here in Manila, so that explains why it has to be bought at CDO and not here...

Below is the script on my email and the e-ticket attached therein.. Thanks Aiza and thanks Ate...

Maam Eleanor,
I'm forwarding to you Ms: Denise Mordeno Aguilar's Cebu Pacific e-ticket.
Thank you and we look forward to serve you again.

Aiza

A DREAM: MAC GAMES DEVELOPER

My office mate, Andrew, loves to play mac games on his lappy. During break, he also loves talking about them. He also says that he dreams of developing his own games someday, the same way that jeux mac, an independent developer of down loadable games for Windows and Macintosh, did. Well, I think he should if that is what he dreams to do and to become. Looking at the collection of mac games installed in his laptop proves that he breathes and eats them 24/7. Sometimes our other office mates would joke that he should be in the games themselves for a greater effect.

And I think Andrew is in agreement with that, lol...

THANK GOD FOR ANOTHER YEAR...

Thank you so much for all those who took the time to call, those who dropped by and gave words of encouragements and praises and love... Thank you so much for all the greetings. Thank God I am given another year to love and serve Him and His People...

To my family and friends...

Daghan Salamat... Kita ta puhon to those I am not able to share my special day with them...

Happy Holidays Thanks To Gloo...

My sister, Darling, along with my other cousins are organizing our Christmas party this 24th. And since I am here in Manila, many wouldn't think that i am part of the planning. Well, I am. I am also part of the planning and the organizing even if I am here, oceans away from Cagayan de Oro City. Well, it so happened that my sister introduced a very neat and trendy system where all of us can meet online and discuss what we want to do and how we want our Christmas party to be. You can not imagine how we can do that simply because we, Aguilar cousins are from all over Misamis Oriental, Davao City, Cebu City, Manila, London UK, Camiguin, Butuan City, Singapore, US and Canada... And with the help of Globe Broadband, most of us here in the Philippines got our all-access pass to Gloo. So what is Gloo? You might ask. And if you perhaps would like to Inquire about Gloo, then I am sure you are also interested in organizing something the way we are doing with our party.. Am I right?

How my sister explained it is simple. If we want something done, we should have a meeting and draft everything on a board. Well, we do have meetings online but without Gloo, we are left hanging... Gloo allows us to write down our ideas for everyone to see. We can add pictures, videos and anything and everything necessary for planning. And of course, the nice thing about it is we can also chat like an online conference in the very platform that we are using. Not to mention that we can also send text messages for those who may not be online for the moment we all are... I could almost imagine conducting an online training of sorts or making a school or office plan for an event or two.. Ahh, imagine the time you can all save...

Below is a bird's eye view of what I am talking about...
This is even better than Facebook and Multiply. But of course, Gloo is not a social network.. It's more than what you can imgaine... Why not create your account and try it...

So far, I have tried making my own page, in order for me to try making one for the house. I have also prepared one for the upcoming VDAY 2010. See the image below:

And there will be more....
