The food above is best sauted with oil or hard fat that is shrunken to a crunch, with pork bits added, plus tomatoes, onions and lots of garlic. I do not have a photo of the finished product. All I know that it is yummy partnered with saba or kamoteng kahoy, which are too rare here.
I miss Ginamos. That is salted fish in English. The photo is borrowed from my sister. She took that photo when she was at the Taboan at the Capitol Grounds a few months ago. She said she saw one pail and she was quite amazed because the ginamos from Initao did not smell fishy at all. So she bought a small bottle to send to me through my friend Bingbang when she came here in Manila three months ago. Unfortunately she forgot and saw the bottle in her cupboard just last week. And it smelled bad and bubbled, so she threw it away.. She only told me today as I was asking for it.. She promised, and due to old age (lmao) forgot.. Anyway, ate, you can still buy another bottle and send it through Toyang or Mikel if their plans of coming here will push through..
